Why Trust Me With Your Mission?
I spent 10 years leading a nonprofit focused on economic empowerment in East Africa before pivoting to marketing out of necessity during the pandemic. I’ve worked with some really exciting marketing agencies, and have helped build & deploy hundreds of brands across dozens of industries - but I can’t stop thinking about how to leverage the skills and strategies I’ve built in marketing in support of the impact of nonprofits.
My background blends nonprofit leadership, marketing expertise, and education. I hold a Master’s in International Relations and a Master’s Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership, and I’ve designed and taught university courses focused on understanding complex global issues. Every step has built a skill set grounded in strategy, communication, and a strong belief in mission-driven work.
I know firsthand what nonprofits are up against - the challenges, the creativity it takes to grow, and the importance of every resource. I bring more than just marketing skills; I bring experience, perspective, and a deep commitment to helping organizations tell their story in ways that build trust, inspire action, and create lasting change.
